Job Summary
A company is looking for a Network Engineer III.
Key Responsibilities
- Write technical Layer 1 equipment installation and fiber testing Method of Procedures (MOP) and troubleshoot newly installed routers and switches
- Develop network configurations from design models/templates and create MOPs for implementation during maintenance windows
- Engineer and create network configurations for onboarding private cloud tenants and support the migration to intelligent edge networks
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or four or more years of relevant work experience
- Experience with IP Layer 1-3 for Edge Networks and hands-on experience with network virtualization
- Functional knowledge of TCP/IP (IPv4 and IPv6) and knowledge of spine and leaf fabric networking
- Extensive knowledge of Layer 1 troubleshooting for copper and fiber cabling
- In-depth knowledge of Command Line Interface (CLI) commands for various networking equipment
