Network Operations Engineer
Job Summary
A company is looking for an Engineer 1 for the BNOC - Operations Center (Overnight Shift).
Key Responsibilities
- Proactive/reactive monitoring and troubleshooting of network issues for commercial customers
- Process customer communications and manage issues until resolution
- Coordinate with field operations to resolve customer and network-related issues
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
- Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent experience
- 0-2 years of relevant work experience
- Certifications such as CCNA or JNCIA are preferred
- Knowledge of network technologies including LAN, WAN, and MAN
- Familiarity with network protocols and standards such as IP and OSPF/MPLS
