Job Summary
A company is looking for a Remote Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver virtual instruction and support tailored to the needs of students who are deaf or hard of hearing
- Design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to meet each student's unique goals
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to foster inclusive and effective learning environments
Qualifications
- Nevada Teaching License with endorsement as a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing
- Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) is required
- At least 2 years of experience teaching students who are deaf or hard of hearing
- Expertise in developing and implementing IEPs
- Comfortable using technology for instruction and collaboration in a virtual setting
