Job Summary
A company is looking for a Virtual Teacher for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (TDHH) in Nevada.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide virtual instruction and support to students who are deaf or hard of hearing
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create inclusive learning environments
Required Qualifications:
- Nevada Teaching License with endorsement as a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing
- Fluency in American Sign Language (ASL) is required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with students who are deaf or hard of hearing
- Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
- Comfortable with technology and virtual teaching platforms
