Job Summary

A company is looking for a Virtual Teacher for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (TDHH) in Nevada.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide virtual instruction and support to students who are deaf or hard of hearing
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create inclusive learning environments

Required Qualifications:
  • Nevada Teaching License with endorsement as a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing
  • Fluency in American Sign Language (ASL) is required
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working with students who are deaf or hard of hearing
  • Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
  • Comfortable with technology and virtual teaching platforms
