New Hampshire Licensed Coding Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coding Specialist to manage coding, auditing, and data entry for surgeries and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Review documentation for accuracy and adherence to regulations
• Communicate with physician practices for necessary documentation to ensure accurate coding and billing
• Participate in ICD-10 readiness initiatives

Required Qualifications and Education

• High school diploma or GED
• Three to five years of multi-specialty coding experience
• Current AHIMA or AAPC Coding Certification(s) such as CCS, CCS-P, CPC, or COC
• Maintains coding credentials through continuing education activities
• Experience with Epic, 3M encoder, and Microsoft Office applications is preferred
