Job Summary
A company is looking for a Remote School Social Worker.
Key Responsibilities
- Offer crisis intervention and support during difficult situations such as trauma, grief, and bullying
- Collaborate with school staff, parents, and community resources to create a support network for students
- Develop and implement individualized plans to support students' mental health and academic success
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program
- Current and valid New Mexico School Social Worker license
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a school setting
- Strong understanding of social-emotional learning, trauma-informed care, and mental health issues affecting students
- Proficient with virtual tools and platforms for remote counseling (e.g., Zoom, Google Meet)
