Job Summary
A company is looking for an IP Counsel (Litigation & Licensing).
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all IP litigation matters and manage disputes with outside counsel
- Draft, negotiate, and finalize complex IP-related transactions, including licensing agreements
- Identify and mitigate IP legal risks associated with advanced technologies
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) with active membership in at least one U.S. state bar (New York preferred)
- 7+ years of experience in IP law, preferably in both law firm and in-house roles
- Experience with IP issues specific to AI and emerging tech companies
- Proven track record in managing complex IP litigation matters
- Experience in drafting and negotiating complex IP-related transactions
