Job Summary
A company is looking for a Fully Remote Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized, remote instruction to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for each student
- Adapt teaching strategies and materials to meet students' individual needs
Required Qualifications
- New York Teaching Certification in Deaf and Hard of Hearing (required)
- New York Professional Educator's License
- Experience working with Deaf or Hard of Hearing students, including IEP development
- Proficiency with virtual classroom tools and technology
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting
