Job Summary
A company is looking for a Non-QM Underwriting Manager to lead and manage the underwriting team for Non-QM loans.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the underwriting team, ensuring productivity, quality, and compliance with guidelines
- Review and render decisions on complex underwriting scenarios, including various loan programs
- Monitor underwriting performance and provide coaching to team members for improvement
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience underwriting Non-QM loans
- Proven experience in a leadership role managing underwriting teams
- Expertise in manual underwriting and DTI calculations
- Strong working knowledge of loan origination systems like Meridian Link or Lending QB
- Ability to evaluate complex financial data and assess borrower risk
