Nonprofit CFO
Job Summary
Seeking a strategic Nonprofit CFO to provide executive-level financial leadership for a portfolio of nonprofit clients in a fully remote, full-time role, where the candidate will manage client relationships, deliver financial insights, and lead a team of accounting professionals.
Key responsibilities
- Own the client relationship, including realization, utilization, NPS, retention, and growth for nonprofit clients
- Serve as the primary strategic advisor to Executive Directors and nonprofit leadership teams, delivering accurate financials and strategic plans
- Lead and develop a team of accounting professionals, ensuring high-quality service delivery and accountability
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
- 12+ years of progressive financial leadership experience with nonprofits
- Proven success in executive-level financial advisory and client relationship ownership
- Deep expertise in nonprofit GAAP, fund accounting, and audit management
- Strong familiarity with the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) preferred
