Job Summary
Seeking a North Carolina Licensed Oncology Nurse Navigator, the full-time hybrid position will manage patient care coordination, facilitate treatment plans, and provide education and resources to oncology patients throughout their cancer journey.
Key responsibilities
- Facilitate timely coordination of appointments, diagnostic testing, and procedures for oncology patients
- Provide individualized assistance and education to patients, families, and caregivers, ensuring informed decision-making
- Analyze patient data to assess health practices and compliance with treatment plans, documenting findings appropriately
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or an ADN with a commitment to obtain a BSN within specified timeframes
- Current RN license to practice in North Carolina
- Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) or Oncology Nurse Navigator (ONN) certification required within three years of hire
- At least two years of nursing experience, including one year in oncology
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification
