Job Summary

A company is looking for a Pharmacy Operations Specialist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform quality checks of claims processing and ensure compliance with healthcare reform and contractual terms
  • Coordinate pharmacy implementation activities across various internal departments for new programs and ensure successful updates for existing groups
  • Onboard incoming client groups, ensuring accuracy in plan design, claim testing, and member communications

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in pharmacy, healthcare, business administration, or a related field preferred
  • 5 years of relevant experience in a PBM or health plan setting
  • Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) or related education/training required
  • In-depth knowledge of claim processing and pharmacy benefits
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially in Excel
