Job Summary
A company is looking for a Part-Time Virtual Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI) to provide remote educational support to visually impaired students.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
- Adapt and deliver curriculum using assistive technology and specialized materials
- Monitor and assess students' progress, adjusting instructional techniques as necessary
Required Qualifications
- Ohio state licensure as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired
- Master's degree in Special Education, Vision Impairment, or a related field
- Proven experience working with visually impaired students, preferably in a virtual setting
- Proficiency in assistive technologies, such as screen readers and Braille technology
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote setting
