Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sign Language Interpreter for a virtual position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate lectures, discussions, and classroom activities into sign language for deaf students
• Ensure equal access to educational materials for deaf students by providing sign language interpretation
• Facilitate communication between students and peers to promote inclusivity and social integration

Required Qualifications:

• American Sign Language English Interpretation (ASLEI) accreditation
• Bachelor's degree in Sign Language Interpreter (or equivalent)
• Proven experience as a Sign Language Interpreter, preferably with telepractice experience
• Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively while adhering to ethical and professional guidelines
