Oncology Data Specialist
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Data Oncology Specialist/Tumor Registrar for a Level 1 Trauma Hospital, 100% remote.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review clinical documentation to extract data and apply ICDO-O codes
- Code, stage, and enter data into the registry database following established guidelines
- Perform data quality control and prepare reports for annual reporting and special studies
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education:
- Graduate from an accredited Health Information Technology program
- Currently certified as an Oncology Data Specialist (ODS) or Certified Tumor Registrar (CTR)
- 5 years of experience in tumor registry as an ODS (CTR)
- Previous experience in a Level 1 Trauma and COC accredited hospital
