Job Summary

An academic management company is seeking a Online Adjunct Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Faculty Member.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Teaching online courses for Graduate Nursing, with emphasis on PMHNP courses
  • Providing SME to support the PMHNP courses, ensuring that industry standards are embedded in courses
  • Applying PSON graduate nursing policies in the online classroom as outlined during orientation

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Unencumbered RN and CRNP licenses in Pennsylvania (preferred) or state of residence (obtaining PA RN licensure will be required)
  • MSN, DNP, or post graduate/ APRN certificate with concentration as PMHNP with national board certification required as PMHNP-BC
  • A minimum of 1 year of successful online teaching experience for an accredited university, preferably in nursing at the graduate level
  • Proven ability to engage students in active learning to meet required course and program outcomes
