Job Summary
A publishing company specializing in learning content and assessments is seeking a Online Elementary School Substitute Teacher.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Communicating with parents, students and other teachers on a regular basis
- Completing all grading and generating progress reports
- Supporting the instructional program through a combination of synchronous and asynchronous web conferencing session
Qualifications for this position include:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Proven commitment to student achievement
- Excellent attention to detail, and strong time management and organizational skills
- Understanding of IEP/504 plans and how they can be implemented in a virtual setting
- Ability to work occasional evening hours, as needed, to support some families
