Job Summary
An online education company has an open position for an Online Special Education Substitute Teacher.
Must be able to:
- Be online and available to students, parents, and school staff Monday through Friday
- Communicate with parents, students and other teachers on a regular basis
- Complete all grading, generate progress reports, and conduct parent conferences
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Maintain a dedicated, distraction-free home working environment
- Highly qualified and certified as a special educator in Minnesota.
- Ability to obtain certification in other states as requested
- Ability to write and monitor IEP plans
- Understanding of IEP/504 plans and how they can be implemented in a virtual setting
- Strong technology skills
