Job Summary

Collaborating with a seasoned team, the full-time Oregon Licensed Senior Actuarial Analyst will develop loss reserves, prepare financial statements, and support rate recommendations while working remotely with occasional travel to Salem, Oregon.

Key responsibilities
  • Develop reasonable loss and loss adjustment expense reserves
  • Prepare financial statement inputs and participate in regulatory audits
  • Support the development and filing of rate recommendations and maintain pricing tools
Required qualifications
  • Four years of actuarial experience, preferably in workers' compensation insurance
  • Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, economics, finance, or a related field
  • Progress towards membership in the Casualty Actuarial Society, including completion of CAS exam 5 or 6
  • Experience in actuarial reserving, pricing, or financial modeling
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on data integrity and analytics
