OSP Project Engineer
Job Summary
A company is looking for an OSP Project Engineer to support the planning and design of fiber optic construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed construction and installation drawings, including cost estimates and project schedules
- Develop plans for local ring architecture, L2, and transport while ensuring compliance with permitting and easement requirements
- Manage project status reporting, tracking, and escalation of any issues affecting timelines or customer satisfaction
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's Degree preferred
- 4+ years of experience in telecommunications construction (OSP/ISP)
- Working knowledge of OSP construction, site preparation, and testing standards
- Experience with CAD and fiber mapping platforms
- Ability to manage multiple projects and budgets effectively
