Outpatient Coder
Job Summary
A company is looking for an Outpatient Coder to join their Acute Care HIMS Coding Team remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Review claims for correct coding based on guidelines and regulations
- Provide recommendations regarding incorrect reimbursements and improve authorization processes
- Assist leadership in training on correct coding and compliance issues
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in a healthcare-related field
- Active certification as a CCS, CPC, CCS-P, RHIT, or RHIA
- Strong knowledge of clinical care
- Ability to work independently
- Experience in an interdisciplinary team format
