Job Summary
A company is looking for a Coder/Abstractor, OP/ED Certified.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply appropriate diagnostic and procedural codes to medical records
- Enter all facility procedure charges and facility E/M charges for Emergency Department accounts
- Ensure data retrieval, analysis, and claims processing are accurate and efficient
Required Qualifications
- Current coding certification in RHIT, RHIA, CPC, CCS, or CCS-P
- Recent work experience as an Outpatient/ED hospital coder
- Experience with Meditech and 3M Encoder is a plus
- Must reside in Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, or Oklahoma if homebound
