Job Summary

A company is looking for an Overnight Content Editor to process and distribute client press releases accurately and timely.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process client press releases, ensuring compliance with content guidelines and formatting requirements
  • Disseminate press releases through media distribution networks and various platforms, including social media
  • Act as the primary contact for client distribution and translation requests, providing advice as needed

Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent, plus a post-secondary certificate in Journalism, Writing, Communications/PR or related field
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service and/or coordination, with some editing experience preferred
  • Basic knowledge of media communication concepts such as earned, owned, and paid media
  • Working knowledge of MS Office and basic knowledge of a CRM; familiarity with HTML, Acrobat, and Photoshop is a plus
  • Sales experience/training is considered an asset
