Job Summary
A company is looking for an Overnight Mainframe/DB2 Support Engineer.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor IT infrastructure and applications to ensure peak efficiency and reliability
- Create and manage job schedules on mainframe and distributed systems, ensuring job completion
- Provide technical assistance and support for IT operations and application programming areas
Required Qualifications and Education
- 5+ years of experience in Mainframe DB2 Support
- Proficiency in DB2, CICS, JCL, and z/OS
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Computer Science preferred, or equivalent experience
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts and weekends
- W2 employment only; not available for C2C
