Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coordinator, P2P Appeals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule and conduct Peer to Peer calls with payers and Medical Directors
  • Document information from payer calls and manage account status in multiple databases
  • Provide support for case entry, Peer to Peer processes, and appeals within the department


Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Call center experience preferred
  • Understanding of denials processes for Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial/Managed Care is a plus
  • Prior experience with hospital EMRs and Payer Portals preferred
  • Proficient in MS Word and Excel, with accurate keyboard skills (minimum 30 wpm)
