Job Summary

A security firm is in need of a Partial Remote Background Investigator.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Obtaining factual information from a variety of personal and record sources to produce a report of investigation
  • Conducting background investigations in a contractor capacity in support of our client's contracts
  • Completing record searches

Qualifications for this position include:

  • Ability to conduct face-to-face interviews to elicit information about applicants seeking federal positions
  • 12 months or more of consecutive FIS experience and less than 8 months of inactivity working NBIB/OPM investigations
  • Must meet the background investigations national training standards
  • 12 months or more of consecutive experience performing executive branch investigations
  • Strong computer and typing skills for composing narrative reports of investigation in FWS and utilizing PIPS
