Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Account Lead Representative responsible for assisting with billing, follow-up, and training staff in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage insurance follow-up and collections, resolving complex accounts and documenting activities
  • Provide coaching and training to staff, including new hires, to enhance performance and productivity
  • Participate in meetings and special projects, communicating issues and solutions to management

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent education
  • 3-6 years of experience in medical or hospital insurance collections
  • Advanced knowledge of UB-04, CPT, and ICD-9 codes
  • Advanced understanding of insurance billing and collections terminology
  • Proficiency in PC and MS Outlook
