Job Summary
A company is looking for a Patient Account Lead Representative responsible for assisting with billing, follow-up, and training staff in a remote setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage insurance follow-up and collections, resolving complex accounts and documenting activities
- Provide coaching and training to staff, including new hires, to enhance performance and productivity
- Participate in meetings and special projects, communicating issues and solutions to management
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- 3-6 years of experience in medical or hospital insurance collections
- Advanced knowledge of UB-04, CPT, and ICD-9 codes
- Advanced understanding of insurance billing and collections terminology
- Proficiency in PC and MS Outlook
