Patient Relations Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Relations Specialist to assist patients and Accounts Receivable.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a healthy patient A/R and ensure all statements, calls, refunds, and collection agency referrals are current
• Communicate effectively with clients and follow up professionally, including answering incoming and completing outgoing patient calls
• Meet specific metrics defined by the organization and maintain detailed status logs

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• 3 years of ASC/Hospital Payment Posting experience
• Knowledge of the Revenue Management Cycle and payer contracts
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent organizational skills and effective time management abilities
