Job Summary
A company is looking for a Payment Specialist (Remote).
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all ERA and EFTs are set up appropriately for each practice
- Post daily explanation of benefits and patient payments to patient accounts
- Review and correct patient accounts to ensure satisfaction
Required Qualifications
- Associate Degree in accounting, business, or medical billing certificate; High School Diploma acceptable with relevant experience
- Minimum 1-year specialized experience with medical billing certificate or 2-3 years without
- Experience with medical software programs; NextGen experience is a plus
- Knowledge of office procedures and machines
- Ability to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer
