Job Summary

A company is looking for a Peer Support Specialist in Ohio.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct peer support to members in one-on-one and group sessions
  • Assist members in accessing resources and developing self-sufficiency skills
  • Plan and facilitate peer support groups to empower members

Required Qualifications:
  • Active Ohio Department of Mental Health & Addiction Services (OMHAS) Adult Peer Support certification
  • Actively enrolled as an Ohio Medicaid provider
  • High school diploma required; Bachelor's or Master's degree in related field preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in peer support, case management, or advocacy services for substance use disorder
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices in substance use disorder treatment
