Job Summary
A company is looking for a Special Education Teacher to provide virtual instruction and support to K-12 students in Pennsylvania.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide virtual instruction to students with diverse learning needs and ensure IEP goals are met
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) in collaboration with parents and school staff
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting instruction as needed to promote success
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education
- Active Pennsylvania Special Education teaching certification
- Experience developing and implementing IEPs
- Prior experience working in a virtual setting is a plus
- Strong knowledge of special education laws, including IDEA and 504 plans
