Job Summary
A company is looking for a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Advanced Building Equipment Research Group.
Key Responsibilities
- Improve and develop numerical modeling tools for heat exchangers and HVAC systems
- Design and analyze new HVAC processes and components
- Conduct laboratory experiments on fluid/thermal components
Required Qualifications
- Recent PhD graduate within the last three years
- Ph.D. in mechanical engineering or relevant field with a focus on heat transfer, thermodynamics, or mass transfer
- Experience in heat and mass transfer fundamentals
- Familiarity with HVAC fundamentals and thermal storage systems
- Proficiency in numerical modeling techniques and programming (EES, Matlab, Python, etc.)
