Job Summary
A company is looking for a Data Engineer to work on a cloud-based conservation analytics platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage a performant Postgres database for the conservation analytics platform
- Develop complex back-end queries using Postgres and/or PostGIS
- Implement and manage ETL jobs and data pipelines in an AWS environment
Required Qualifications
- 6 years of overall experience in data engineering
- 3 years of experience using PostgreSQL for high-performance data analytics
- 3 years of experience with PostgreSQL data tuning and permissions management
- Experience leveraging Git as a code repository
- Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance
