Principal Category Manager

Job Summary

Accountable for sourcing strategies and implementation for defined categories, the remote Principal Category Manager will manage spend, improve total cost of ownership, and engage with partners to achieve savings goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver category management processes, including spend analytics, strategy development, and negotiations
• Lead RFP/RFQ bids, supplier evaluation, and contract negotiations to secure optimal cost and service
• Implement quarterly business reviews with suppliers and monitor action plans to enhance financial performance

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of supply chain experience
• 2-3 years of sourcing and/or category management experience
• Experience with supplier evaluation, selection, negotiation, and contracting
• Global category management experience preferred
