Principal Data Scientist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Data Scientist, Consumer Experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and enhance machine learning, statistical, and causal models for product search, ranking, and recommendation
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to develop and deploy data science solutions
• Identify gaps in existing data and work with engineering teams to implement enhanced data tracking

Required Qualifications:

• MS or PhD in statistics, mathematics, analytics, computer science, or a related quantitative field AND 3+ years of experience as a data scientist in eCommerce or Logistics, or 8+ years of experience in the same fields
• Hands-on experience in building ranking and recommendation models in production environments
• Expert knowledge in statistical and machine learning techniques
• Proficient in Python and SQL, with experience in cloud platforms and model deployment technologies
• Experience with data science libraries and machine learning workflows
