Job Summary
A company is looking for a Principal Engineer to lead the design and implementation of regulated payments infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end process of designing, implementing, and deploying regulated payments infrastructure
- Maintain short feedback cycles through communication of priorities and team learning
- Focus on transaction processing speed and clear communication with customers to build trust
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years in a Staff or Principal Engineering role, preferably in Fintech and Payments
- Advanced proficiency in TypeScript, Postgres, GraphQL, and Restful distributed backend system design
- Solid grasp of transaction processing, ledgering, and asynchronous risk monitoring
- Experience building mission-critical, API-first services for enterprise-scale customers
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
