Principal Machine Learning Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Machine Learning Engineer / Team Lead.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and oversee development for ML solutions to novel product issues
• Triage customer issues related to model/system shortcomings and communicate effectively with stakeholders
• Build and maintain pipelines for fine-tuning open-source LLMs and deploy models on GPUs

Required Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent professional experience
• Over 5 years of industry experience in machine learning with a track record of developing scalable ML-driven products
• Experience in building recommender systems, preferably in e-commerce
• Expertise in machine learning frameworks like PyTorch and ML system design in production environments
• Hands-on experience with large-scale data systems and model deployment strategies
