Principal Product Manager, AI

Job Summary

Owning the vision and strategy for the AI Platform, the full-time Principal Product Manager, AI will manage a governed, model-agnostic gateway, oversee evaluation and quality enforcement, and define trust and autonomy criteria while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Own the vision for a governed AI Gateway that manages model traffic and cost attribution
• Define the roadmap for evaluation engines and quality enforcement to ensure high standards before user impact
• Establish partnerships with cross-functional teams to drive platform adoption and align with engineering practices

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Product Management, with a focus on infrastructure or AI/ML systems
• Proven track record of scaling technical platforms for internal engineering or data science customers
• Technical fluency in AI/ML stack, model serving, and cloud infrastructure
• Ability to leverage telemetry and cost data to inform product strategy
• Experience managing complex platform backlogs and communicating trade-off decisions effectively
