Job Summary
A company is looking for a Principal Software Engineer, Video, Frontend.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and optimization of the next-generation video player library
- Establish relationships across Engineering, Program Management, Product, and QA to define the technology roadmap
- Advocate for excellence in operations, engineering, and delivery within the team
Required Qualifications
- 15+ years of industry experience in software engineering
- Experience as a developer, technical leader, and architect of front-end applications
- Expertise in multimedia frameworks and protocols, such as MPEG-DASH and HLS
- Hands-on experience with multiple code stacks including mobile, web, backend, and infrastructure
- Proven experience leading technology leaders and driving engineering programs
