Principal Supplier Value Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time Principal Supplier Value Engineer will develop should cost estimates for complex nuclear structures and equipment, utilizing statistical modeling and collaborating with product teams and suppliers to identify cost drivers and opportunities for reduction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather and analyze data to develop cost prediction algorithms for nuclear components
• Lead product teams in identifying cost driving parameters to build should cost estimates
• Collaborate with category management and supplier negotiation teams to leverage should cost analysis in negotiations

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering; Master's degree in a related field preferred
• 10+ years of experience in should cost estimating or manufacturing process planning
• Experience in mathematics and statistics is essential
• SAVE international certification preferred
