Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coder II Pro fee Pulmonary/Critical Care.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify and sequence ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes from medical records
• Navigate and research CMS guidelines and insurance denials
• Maintain current knowledge of coding guidelines and participate in continuing education activities

Required Qualifications

• Active AAPC or AHIMA credentials (CPC, CCS-P, CPC-H, or related specialty)
• Three years of recent and relevant coding experience
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and coding systems
• Ability to consistently code at a 95% accuracy threshold
• Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel
