Procurement Specialist - Packaging
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Procurement Specialist (Packaging & Components) for a remote opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a spend portfolio of up to 25 million USD, overseeing procurement activities across multiple suppliers and categories
- Develop and implement category strategies, optimizing sourcing, supplier selection, and pricing
- Monitor supplier performance and manage risk, ensuring supply continuity and supporting sustainability goals
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- 2+ years of experience in Packaging Materials, Supply Chain, or a relevant field
- Experience utilizing SAP systems; knowledge of Oracle, AS 400, and Power BI is a plus
- Foundational finance knowledge such as P&L analysis and budgeting
- Experience with contracts and contract negotiation is a plus
