Job Summary

A company is looking for a Program Manager, Communications to support the National Institutes of Health (NIH).

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate overall program policies while directing subordinate managers/staff
  • Direct and manage multiple programs/projects, ensuring project quality and success
  • Establish goals, objectives, and performance standards while managing deliverable schedules for various communication activities
Required Qualifications
  • 10 years of relevant experience in strategic communications and written content development
  • Master's degree in mass communications, marketing, public relations, or a related field
  • Experience supporting complex projects for NIH institutes, particularly in areas like aging, cancer, and mental health
  • Demonstrated ability in project management with experience in managing integrated project initiatives
  • Experience in business development efforts, including relationship building and proposal development
