Job Summary
A company is looking for a Program Manager, Communications to support the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate overall program policies while directing subordinate managers/staff
- Direct and manage multiple programs/projects, ensuring project quality and success
- Establish goals, objectives, and performance standards while managing deliverable schedules for various communication activities
Required Qualifications
- 10 years of relevant experience in strategic communications and written content development
- Master's degree in mass communications, marketing, public relations, or a related field
- Experience supporting complex projects for NIH institutes, particularly in areas like aging, cancer, and mental health
- Demonstrated ability in project management with experience in managing integrated project initiatives
- Experience in business development efforts, including relationship building and proposal development
