Job Summary

A company is looking for a Provider Services Advocate to assist Medicare providers with inquiries regarding coverage guidelines and policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to Medicare Part A and B inquiries from the provider community
  • Research and troubleshoot claims processing issues and provide educational resources to customers
  • Analyze claim edits, audits, and debt recovery systems to resolve customer issues

Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1 year of related work experience in customer service or claims
  • Demonstrated internet and PC software navigation skills
  • Experience in the insurance industry or medical coding is preferred
  • Post-secondary education or relevant coursework is a plus
