Job Summary
A company is looking for a Provider Services Advocate to assist Medicare providers with inquiries regarding coverage guidelines and policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to Medicare Part A and B inquiries from the provider community
- Research and troubleshoot claims processing issues and provide educational resources to customers
- Analyze claim edits, audits, and debt recovery systems to resolve customer issues
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1 year of related work experience in customer service or claims
- Demonstrated internet and PC software navigation skills
- Experience in the insurance industry or medical coding is preferred
- Post-secondary education or relevant coursework is a plus
