Public Trust Licensed Access Engineer

Job Summary

To support a federal program, the contract-to-hire Physical Access Control (PACS) Integration Engineer will work onsite in Washington, D.C., focusing on integrating PACS with credentialing systems and maintaining secure access control infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Support and maintain physical and logical access control systems (PACS/LACS) integrated with PIV or CAC credentials
• Configure, troubleshoot, and support PACS systems and related components
• Document system configurations, architectures, and operational processes

Required qualifications

• Hands-on experience with physical access control systems (Lenel, CCURE, Genetec, Hirsch, or similar)
• Experience integrating PACS systems with credential-based access systems (PIV, CAC)
• Working knowledge of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and certificate-based authentication
• Experience supporting access control systems in secure or regulated environments
• Eligible for Public Trust clearance
