Job Summary

A company is looking for a Purchasing Coordinator to join their Vertical Market Operations Team in a remote capacity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify purchase requisitions and recommend alternatives based on cost or lead time issues
  • Prepare and issue purchase orders while managing online databases of materials ordered, received, and delivered
  • Negotiate costs with vendors and track orders to ensure consistency with commitment dates

Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 2+ years of previous experience in a purchasing environment
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or related coursework
  • Proficient computer skills, including MS Office applications
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain exceptional customer focus
