Job Summary
A company is looking for a PV Performance Engineer.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage PV module technology, energy modeling, and performance estimates for solar projects
- Oversee technical design documentation to ensure compliance with contractual agreements and financial models
- Support energy modeling for business development projects, including clean fuel and green hydrogen initiatives
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 years of technical experience in PV performance and production estimates for utility-scale systems
- Experience managing Independent Engineer deliverables during project financing
- Solid background in material science related to thin-film, CdTe PV technology
- BS in Engineering; a Master's or PhD in a relevant field is preferred
- Proficiency in scripting languages for automating engineering calculations (e.g., VBA, Matlab, Python)
