Job Summary
A company is looking for a Quality Analyst, Coding Services (Facility).
Key Responsibilities
- Perform validation reviews for coding compliance, quality, accuracy, and completeness
- Prepare coding quality reports and provide feedback to individuals and teams
- Provide training and coaching to improve coding quality performance
Required Qualifications and Education
- Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) or similar certification required; RHIT or RHIA accepted
- Minimum five (5) years of medical coding and/or coding quality experience
- Understanding of ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, CPT, and HCPCS coding guidelines
- Must remain current on coding guidelines and complete mandatory continuing education
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred
