Supporting advanced nuclear energy initiatives, the contract Radioactive Material Transport Engineer will focus on nuclear packaging, transportation logistics, and regulatory compliance for radioactive materials while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Support development of nuclear packaging and transportation programs
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations regarding radioactive material transport
• Act as a technical point of contact for nuclear material transport activities

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
• 2-10 years of engineering experience
• Familiarity with nuclear industry environments
• Ability to read and interpret government regulations related to radioactive material transport
• Strong analytical and technical writing skills
