Job Summary
A company is looking for a Real Estate Partner to provide on-demand general counsel services.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial real estate agreements, including leases and purchase and sale agreements
- Act as general counsel for clients with large real estate portfolios, advising on property management and compliance issues
- Conduct due diligence for real estate transactions and provide proactive advice to minimize risks and resolve disputes
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
- At least 10+ years of corporate legal practice, including in-house experience
- 3+ years of law firm training
- J.D. from a nationally accredited law school
- State bar membership in the state of residence/practice
- Demonstrated legal expertise in commercial real estate transactions and finance
